INSPIRING PLACES OF ENCOUNTER
“Third places” are inspiring places of the future, beyond the home and the office. They offer space for social interaction, communication and networking. A third place can also be created in a hotel, as a coworking zone between the lobby and conference area. The “Modern Library” spatial vision thus captures the idea of a space where a lively exchange of knowledge is possible alongside quiet reading and learning.
"In hybrid spaces that invite both collaboration and concentrated work, textile acoustic solutions play an important role. They enable the interplay between quiet and communication. In this way, the space becomes a place that reflects the needs of modern society."

BETWEEN THE POLES OF INTERACTION AND RETREAT
The visual and acoustic design of the “Modern Library” creates an atmosphere of learning and promotes both concentration and interaction. The acoustic curtains conceal retreat zones for meetings, phone calls or a power nap. The walls and ceilings of the Lobby Lounge are covered with Acoustic Panels to visually define the area and optimize the acoustics.
