The new PURE collection by JAB Anstoetz Flooring comprises 5 Kilim versions, differentiated by pattern and weaving structure, in a total of 196 colours. The distinctive beauty of these carpets emerges from the typically unique characteristics of hand weaving.
PURE – THE SOUL OF SIMPLICITY: BASIC PLAIN
Plain but not at all monotonous, the flat Kilims from the PURE series enchant with a natural, compact look and a colour palette of 87 shades ranging from strong emotional tones like Blackberry or Petrol to restrained natural colours like Sand and Pebble White.
VISION – TWO COLOURS, ONE FEELING: UNIQUENESS
If PURE is too puristic, then elegantly iridescent effects can be discovered with VISION, produced by the interweaving of two colours. Bold tones harmonise with neutralising nuances to create demure elegance. With VISION the audacious never appears overstated, but rather always extremely successful. The natural structure of the colour melange corresponds with the hand-woven texture of the virgin New Zealand wool. Which is why each handcrafted VISION Kilim is unique, characterised by its distinctive individual structure. VISION is available in 27 attractive colour combinations.
VIEW – PATTERNED VISTAS FOR INDIVIDUALISTS
Recurring little patterns of diamonds in a modern ethno-look embody the art and beauty of both ancient and modern times. On the one hand, Aztec or Indian ornaments seem to be woven into the handcrafted structure. On the other hand, the purism of the modern interpretation of the diamond speaks for itself: a feast for the eyes. In the end it’s all just a point of VIEW in 26 colours.
FLOW – ZIGZAG IN VINTAGE-CHIC LOOK
FLOW embodies the genuine and natural: the waves of the sea, the mountain peaks or the herringbone pattern of father’s tweed jacket. In every case the vintage chic of FLOW is a style element that enriches urban worlds of living with an authentic pattern. Beige, Cream, Grey, Sand, fringes, plain, FLOW. SMART – FINE STRIPES
The restrained striped structure of SMART reveals its wealth of detail at a second glance. Straight as a die, SMART is a carpet of well-being for line-loving aesthetics. The regular structure radiates a relaxed elegance that complements even the most surprising combinations. The play of colours is given particular appeal by the striped structure. In tone-on-tone versions the pattern remains understated but highlights the quality impression.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST – THE BINDING OPTIONS
Every PURE Kilim can be produced with various bindings. There are six types of bindings to choose from:
- Basic, here the edge is finished in the same colour as the carpet or in any of the shades of the plain colour palette.
- Fringes radiates retro-charm with a 7-cm-long fringe either in the same colour as the carpet or in any of the shades of the plain colour palette.
- Turn and Turn Duo are straight, modern bindings for VIEW, FLOW and SMART whereby the weaving edge is turned and sewed on the reverse side.
PURE and VISION can also be ordered as round carpets. The use of an anti-slip underlay is recommended with all PURE Kilim rugs.
