Textile Solutions for Pleasant Room Acoustics
How can the acoustics of open-plan offices be optimised without changing the existing interior concept? This approach was adopted in the Berlin offices of an international pharmaceutical company. Building on the existing interior design concept, one floor was specifically enhanced with acoustic solutions. The focus was on combining effective sound absorption with seamless integration into the existing interior design.
A total of 51 SHAPE CIRCLE Acoustic Panels, upholstered in WOOLLY fabric, introduce sound-absorbing elements into the office spaces. In addition, an ACOUSTIC GUARD featuring the fabrics TALENT and GAUCHITO has been installed.
Textile room dividers featuring the fabrics SATO and GOODFELLA or FLANEL FR complement the design concept and allow for flexible spatial arrangements. The various acoustic solutions blend seamlessly into the existing interior, demonstrating how functional requirements and textile design can be successfully combined.
