Creating a basis of life

The Cradle to Cradle® principle is used for the decoration fabrics. Products manufactured according to this principle can be composted after use without leaving any harmful residues. Our fabrics are not only harmless to the biological cycle, but also create added value. Product and process chemicals such as dyes and additives are safe for biological cycles. By closing these cycles, humus is created which can form the basis of life for future generations.

Besides the recyclability of our collection, the focus is on safe and fair working conditions and the rules of Corporate Social Responsibility (CRS). Attention is also paid to economical water consumption, short transport routes and the use of renewable energies.

The decoration fabrics consist of biodegradable natural fibres such as "Kleopatra" cotton. It comes from southern Turkey, where organic cotton has been grown in harmony with nature for over 2000 years and is only harvested once a year. The rest of the added value – spinning, weaving and finishing – is achieved within a radius of only 40 kilometres. Added to this is a biodegradable polyester substitute. The transparent qualities, which consist mainly of degradable polyester, impress with their dimensional stability and easy-care properties. Biodegradable accessories such as ribbons and sewing threads are also available for making up the fabrics.
