Peter Maly

After finishing his studies in interior design, he became a member of the editorial team of “Schöner Wohnen” from 1960 – 1970. Since 1970 he has run one of the most successful design studios in Germany with five staff. His design spectrum is vast and impressive: international furniture collections, home accessories, carpets, exhibition architecture, photo designs, showrooms and shop concepts. Maly’s works are characterised by his love of geometric shapes, and the way he strives for clearness, functionality and durability of the products. Some of his designs have already become modern classics. He has been awarded numerous national and international awards, and exhibitions in several museums have honoured his works.
